Adding and viewing call notes in property and contact records

Easily view, add, and update call notes directly from a record’s communication activity

Invelo allows you to manage your call notes right where you need them — within the Communication (Comms) section of a record’s activity. You can now view, add, or update call notes for both Properties and Contacts, keeping all relevant information organized and accessible in one place. This feature applies to all calls made through Invelo (except logged calls) and helps you keep detailed records of every conversation.

What you can do

With this feature, you can:

  • View call notes: See any notes previously added for a call directly in the Comms section of a record’s activity.

  • Add or update notes: Create new notes or edit existing ones to capture important details from your conversation.

  • Stay organized: Keep all your communication history and notes linked to the right Property or Contact record.

📌 Keep in mind: 

  • You can add call notes to call logs from smrtPhone, but existing notes from smrtPhone (made using the smrtPhone extension or platform) will not appear in Invelo.

  • This feature does not apply to logged calls (manually logged call entries).

How to add, view, or update call notes

  1. Open a record: Go to the property or contact record where the call took place.

  2. Go to communication activity: Scroll down to the Comms section to view all recent communications — including calls, texts, and emails.

  3. Find the call entry: Locate the specific call you want to add notes to.

  4. View, add, or edit notes:

    • Upon locating the call entry, you can click on the call notes entry field to add or update the call notes. 

    • Click Save when done.

  5. View updated notes: Your saved notes will now appear in the call’s details within the Comms section.

Best Practices

  • Add notes immediately after calls to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Use concise and descriptive notes to make it easier for your team to understand the context.

  • Keep all communication records up to date to maintain a clear activity history across your properties and contacts.

By managing your Call Notes directly within the record’s activity, you can keep your communication organized and accessible — helping your team stay aligned and informed at every step.
