Does Campaign Analytics include Workflow results?

My Workflow results aren’t showing in Campaign Analytics — why?

If you’ve created a marketing follow-up or sent outreach efforts using Workflows and don’t see the results reflected in Campaign Analytics, don’t worry, this is expected behavior. Currently, only marketing activities created directly through Campaigns are tracked and displayed in the Analytics Dashboard.

Why This Happens

Invelo treats Workflows and Campaigns as two separate tools designed for different purposes:

  • Campaigns are built for structured, trackable marketing efforts — such as direct mail, email, and SMS — where analytics like send rates, responses, and engagement are automatically logged.

  • Workflows, on the other hand, are meant for automated follow-ups or internal tasks (like updating records, tagging leads, or triggering notifications). They’re not currently tied to the Campaign Analytics system.

Because of this, data generated from Workflows (e.g., automated messages, follow-ups, or lead actions) won’t appear in the Campaign Analytics dashboard.

What You Can Do

If you want your marketing results to appear in Analytics, make sure to launch your efforts using Campaigns, not Workflows.

You can still use Workflows alongside Campaigns to automate your internal processes or follow-up actions. They just won’t contribute to analytics reporting.

Quick Reference

  • Campaigns = For trackable marketing activities (analytics supported)

  • Workflows = For automation and follow-ups (analytics not supported)

Only Campaign-generated results are pushed to the Analytics Dashboard.
