Preview exactly how your direct mail will look before sending
Invelo recently added a new feature that allows you to download a PDF proof of your direct mail pieces. This ensures you can see what your campaign materials will look like once fields are merged with real property or contact data, helping you confirm everything is correct before sending.
With this feature, you’ll always know what your audience will receive, reducing errors and improving your marketing touch.
What is a direct mail proof?
A direct mail proof is a preview of the final mail piece after your template merges with actual record data. Instead of just seeing placeholders, you’ll be able to review what your recipients will really see, making it easier to double-check details like names, addresses, and offer values.
How it works

You can download a PDF proof from your campaign sequence or workflow action.

Invelo will automatically pull a record from your sequence, campaign, or account to generate the proof.

If no records are available, Invelo will use dummy data so you can still see how the mail piece will be formatted.

The proof will display merged fields with real values (or dummy placeholders if no records exist).

How to download your proof

Navigate to your Campaigns

Finish creating a direct mail sequence. Choose your direct mail template, postage type, and sender profile.

Once you reach the preview section of the Edit sequence window, click Download Proof.

Review the PDF and make any necessary adjustments before finalizing your campaign.
