Managing SMS and Call Logs in the Communications Center

Track, review, and send messages efficiently through Invelo’s Communications Center

The Communications Center in Invelo allows you to view and manage all your SMS and call activity in one place. Here, you can track message history, access contact details, and even send personalized text messages using templates and merge fields. This ensures that every interaction with your leads and contacts is organized, consistent, and easy to manage.

Viewing and Managing Communication Logs

All communication logs in the Communications Center are segmented based on the smrtPhone number used to send or receive the communication. This includes:

  • SMS Messages – All text message exchanges.

  • Call Recordings – Both inbound and outbound calls are automatically logged with recording links for playback.

  • Voicemails – Any voicemails received are stored and easily accessible for review.

Each communication entry is linked to the corresponding contact record in your database. To view more details about the person or property associated with the number, click View Contact. This opens the contact profile, where you can review previous conversations, notes, and related activities.

Sending SMS Messages and Using Templates

You can also send text messages directly from the Communications Center. To make communication faster and more consistent:

  • Use SMS Templates: Choose from your saved templates for quick, professional replies. Once you choose an SMS template, it will automatically populate in the text field. 

  • Add Variables (Merge Fields): Personalize each message with details from the contact record, such as Contact Mailing Address or First Name.

    Simply click on the variable you want to include and paste it into your message. When sent, the system automatically replaces the variable with the contact’s actual information. Variables related to the sender profile (like name, company, or phone number) are based on your nominated account details.

Reviewing Call Recordings and Voicemails

Within the same log, you can listen to call recordings from both inbound and outbound calls. These recordings provide valuable context for past conversations, helping you follow up effectively.

If a voicemail is received, it will appear in your communication log under the corresponding phone number. You can play it directly in the Communications Center and, if needed, follow up with an SMS or a return call, all from the same view.



The Communications Center keeps all your communication history—SMS, calls, and voicemails—organized and easily accessible. By linking every interaction to its contact record and providing playback and messaging options, it ensures your communication process stays efficient, transparent, and well-documented.
