Required Importing Fields

Make sure your file includes all the necessary information before importing your data into Invelo.

When importing data into Invelo, it’s important to include the minimum required fields so your records can be uploaded successfully. Missing required information may cause your import to fail or result in incomplete records.

Properties

To import property records, your file must include either:

  • Property Address, or

  • APN (Assessor’s Parcel Number)

And must also include:

  • City (required)

  • State (required)

  • Zip Code (required)

Tip: If you’re importing using APN, make sure the City, State, and Zip fields are still present in your file.

⚠️ Properties missing both an Address and APN will fail to import.


Contacts

To import contact records, your file must include either:

  • First Name and Last Name, or

  • Company Name

And at least one form of contact information:

  • Mailing Address, or

  • Phone Number, or

  • Email Address

⚠️ If both name/company and contact information are missing, the record will not be imported.


📋 File Formatting Tips

  • Make sure your headers clearly describe the field names for easier mapping during import.

  • Avoid blank rows, merged cells, or special characters in your file.

  • Save your file as a .CSV before uploading to Invelo.
