Setting up pre-recorded voicemails in Invelo’s built-in dialer
Save time, stay consistent, and increase callback rates with voicemail drops
If you’re making outbound calls, you already know the drill — most prospects don’t answer. That’s where pre-recorded voicemails come in.
Invelo’s built-in dialer allows you to upload and use voicemail recordings so you can quickly drop a professional, consistent message without repeating yourself on every call. This saves time, preserves your voice, and keeps your outreach efficient.
Below is a step-by-step guide to setting up and using your pre-recorded voicemails.
Why use pre-recorded voicemails?
Using voicemail drops helps you:
-
Maintain a consistent message across campaigns
-
Save time during high-volume calling sessions
-
Prevent voice fatigue
-
Improve callback tracking consistency
-
Stay focused on live conversations
If you're running cold call campaigns or follow-up sequences, this feature can significantly streamline your workflow.

Follow these steps to upload your voicemail inside Invelo:
Step 1: Navigate to the Calling settings
-
Click your profile icon button and select Settings
-
Click Calling
-
Locate the Voicemails tab
Step 2: Upload your recording
-

-
You can either upload your pre-recorded audio file (ensure it meets the supported file format requirements: recordings must be under 60 seconds in length, limit is 10mb, and audio files only) or record from the model directly.
-
Name your voicemail clearly (e.g., “Cold Call Intro,” “Follow-Up Message,” “Cash Offer Campaign”)
Step 3: Save your recording
-
Click Save
-
Confirm the voicemail appears in your available voicemail list
Your voicemail is now ready to use during outbound calls.
Best practices for recording your voicemail
Before uploading, make sure your recording:
-
Is clear and recorded in a quiet environment
-
Sounds natural and conversational
-
Stays under 60 seconds
-
Includes your name and callback number
Keep it simple. The goal is to spark curiosity — not close the deal in the voicemail.
How to use a voicemail drop during a call
When calling through the Invelo dialer:
-
If the call reaches voicemail, select your pre-recorded message
-
Drop the voicemail directly from the dialer interface
-
Continue to your next call without needing to manually leave a message
This allows you to move through your call list efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
When should you use voicemail drops?
Voicemail drops are especially useful for:
-
Cold call campaigns
-
Follow-up outreach
-
Expired listings or aged leads
-
High-volume prospecting days
They are ideal when speed and consistency are important.
Pre-recorded voicemails help you scale your calling efforts without sacrificing message quality. Instead of repeating yourself dozens of times per session, you can focus your energy on live conversations — where deals actually happen.
