Invelo's AI Driving for Dollars tool is a powerful feature that uses AI and Google Street View images to virtually scout neighborhoods for distressed or potentially investment-worthy properties—no need to physically drive around.

The AI analyzes Google Street View images to identify visual signs of distress, such as:

• Damaged roofs

• Overgrown grass or landscaping

• Boarded-up windows or visible damage

• Neglected exterior maintenance

• Vacant or abandoned appearance

This lets you cover much more ground, faster, and build lead lists directly from the platform based on actual property conditions—all from your computer. It’s a game-changer for investors who want the benefits of traditional driving for dollars without the time commitment or gas money.

Access Requirements

AI Driving for Dollars is only available for Invelo's paid plans. You would need to be on the Starter, Growth, or Professional plan to be able to access AI Driving for Dollars. 

Important notes

• Only single-family residentials, multifamily (up to 4 units) properties, condos, and mobile homes are analyzed.
• The cost is $0.03 per property record in the farm area you analyzed.
• You will be charged to analyze all properties in the selected area, regardless of the results. You will be refunded for properties that can't be analyzed—like when Google Street View is unavailable or the image is obstructed.

How to use AI Driving for Dollars

1. Open the List Builder from your dashboard.

   

2. Choose your target area – we recommend using the Draw Tool for more precise targeting.

   

3. (Optional) Apply additional filters to narrow down your search.

4. Click AI Driving for Dollars.

   

5. Set the minimum distressed score to define the level of property distress you’re targeting.

   

6. Select the Lists and Tags where you’d like the property records to be added.

   

7. Click Purchase List and Import to complete the process.

Other information

Minimum ownership length

✅ We strongly recommend a minimum of 5–10 years of ownership as an additional filter. 

This helps ensure you're targeting owners who may be more motivated to sell due to age, deferred maintenance, or changes in life circumstances.

Why we might not assess a property

Sometimes, we’re unable to analyze a property and generate a score. Here are the common reasons why:

• under_construction: The image shows the property is under construction or being rehabbed — not a good D4D lead.

• no_image: Google doesn’t have imagery for this address.

• not_visible: The property (or key parts of it) is not clearly visible in the image, making it difficult to assess.

• address_not_found: The provided address couldn’t be matched to a record in our database.

How often do we update the images and scores?

The imagery is updated as Google updates their own images. Most street-level imagery is taken within the last 4 years. 

• Filtering for 5+ years of ownership ensures you’re targeting leads visible in the most recent imagery

What Do the Scores Mean?

Every property is assigned a distress score between 0 and 100. Here's how to interpret it:

• 80–100: Highly distressed or severely aged

• 60–79: Moderately distressed or visibly aged

• 0-59: Likely to be in better condition, lower priority for D4D targeting

These scores help you quickly prioritize which properties are worth pursuing.
