Understanding queued marketing batches in Invelo

Explaining limited batch visibility in active campaigns

When running a marketing campaign in Invelo, you have the flexibility to send out your messages in controlled batches—this helps you better manage your outreach based on your team's workload, timing, and marketing budget.

What are queued marketing batches?

A queued marketing batch is a group of records that Invelo will send at the next available send date based on your batching settings.

  • You decide the minimum and maximum number of records per batch (e.g., 100–200 records per batch).

  • If you’re using the “automatically add matching property records” option, new matching records will continue to join your campaign—but they won’t be sent until the next batch meets the minimum threshold.

This approach gives you flexibility and control over how your audience is marketed to over time.

Why don’t I see all my batches right away?

When you activate a campaign, Invelo will initially show only the first 3 batches under the campaign’s Details tab — even if more are scheduled.

Here’s why:

  • Invelo displays batches progressively to keep your campaign dashboard organized and easy to read.

  • Once a visible batch finishes processing, the next queued batch will automatically show up in the list.

  • You don’t need to manually refresh or intervene — the system updates itself as each batch completes.

This “drip release” view helps you stay focused on what’s actually ready to send and what’s coming next.

Example scenario

You have 1,000 records and set your batch size to 100–200:

  1. Invelo creates multiple batches behind the scenes based on your settings.

  2. Your campaign will first show the first three batches in Details.

  3. As each batch sends and finishes processing, the next queued batches will appear automatically.

  4. If new records qualify (via filters or automatic matching), they will be added to upcoming batches — as long as minimum thresholds are met.

What you should know

  • Don’t worry if you don’t see all batches listed right away—more will appear as each one completes.

  • This setup is designed to help you stay on top of your campaign’s progress and avoid overwhelming your system or team.

  • Batch processing is continuous. No need for manual intervention once your campaign is live.

Tips for managing queued batches

  • Plan Your Batch Size Wisely:
Smaller batches → more spread out send dates and manageable response flow.
Larger batches → faster outreach, but more responses at once.

  • Check Send Dates & Status:
See when each batch is scheduled or processed under the campaign’s Details tab.

  • Understand Visibility Behavior:
Only the first few batches show initially — this doesn’t mean your campaign is paused or incomplete.
