Manage each campaign enrollment separately—even when a record re-enters after completion
When a record completes a campaign and later re-enters, it is treated as a new and independent enrollment. This design allows for flexible campaign management, especially for records that meet re-entry criteria.
How unenrollment works
-
Completed Records Cannot Be Unenrolled
Once a record has completed the entire campaign, it can no longer be unenrolled from that completed instance. -
Unenrollment Status Within the Campaign
A record that is actively enrolled can be marked as unenrolled. This action affects how it behaves within sequence batches. -
Batch Handling for Unenrolled Records
When a record is part of a batch, unenrollment affects it in the following ways:a. If the record has NOT processed or completed any sequences:
-
It is removed from the batch.
-
The record will not be processed.
-
These records will no longer show up in the “total records” count of the sequence batch.
-
If the campaign has minimum batch requirements, the daily batch recalculation may push an available record into the batch to replace the unenrolled one.
-
b. If the record HAS processed or completed any sequences:
-
It remains within the batch but is marked as “failed” for any upcoming sequences it was queued to process.
-
It will continue to process any active processing sequences.
-
It will not process any queued sequences.

Re-Enrolling Unenrolled Records
Records that have been unenrolled can be manually re-enrolled by the user at any time. However, they will not resume where they left off. Instead, they will enter the campaign as a new, independent enrollment. -
Filter Behavior
Records that are unenrolled cannot be re-enrolled automatically based on filter criteria. Re-enrollment must be done manually.
Important Note on Re-Entry
Each time a record re-enters a campaign, it is treated as a completely new enrollment. Even if the record had completed the campaign previously, the new enrollment is managed separately. You can unenroll this new enrollment without affecting the completed one.
Think of each enrollment as its own object. Completed enrollments remain archived, and all current or future enrollments can be managed individually.
